Emami IMD has four umbrella brands: Emami – Beauty & Herbal care, Himani – Cosmoceutical & Healthcare, Zandu – Nutraceutical & Ayurvedic products, Emita – Value for Money products.
Under the umbrella, our key brands have experienced phenomenal growths in their focus markets and have swiftly taken leadership positions in their respective categories. Fair and Handsome and Navratna command leadership in the Men’s Face Care & Cool Oil categories respectively in the GCC, Bangladesh and Nepal. Brand Fair and Handsome defines the men’s face care category in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Boroplus Antiseptic Cream is the market leader in its category in the entire CIS region.

Strength in Numbers: Financial Performance

Africa & SAARC were the key growth market for Emami IMD. Growth for the year (2010- 11) closed at 29% with exports at Rs 177 crores (USD 39 million). With a strong focus on developing new products and new markets, thrust is also being placed on increasing distribution and penetration in existing markets and to initiate the development of one global brand.
