South Asia (SAARC)

Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Pakistan are key markets for Emami in the South Asia region.
Emami Bangladesh Ltd (EBL) is a 100% subsidiary of Emami Ltd. India. Emami entered into manufacturing by setting up a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Dhaka. Other brands and products will continue to be imported and marketed from Emami India.

The operations in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) started in 1999 with Russia. Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Uzbekistan are the key markets in the region with Himani Boroplus being the highest-selling herbal antiseptic skin care cream. We have recently introduced in Russia, Boroplus Intensive Therapy range that targets specific skin conditions.

Middle-East, North Africa and Pakistan

One of the fastest growing markets has been the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries that include UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Fairness cream and cooling oil categories are growing consistently every year which encouraged the launch of Emami Fair and Handsome Fairness Cream for Men in UAE in 2006. Since then it has established itself as the leader in the men’s facial fairness category by offering unique benefits to the men in Gulf States. Following this was the launch of range of Emami Fair and Handsome including shaving balms and lotions.
Himani Navratna cooling oil also continues to be the largest selling brand for head and body massage.
