The operations in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) started in 1999 with Russia. The key markets in the region include countries such as Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Uzbekistan. Himani BoroPlus is the top-selling herbal antiseptic skin care cream in this region. The BoroPlus Intensive Therapy range was launched in Russia recently, designed to address specific skin conditions.
One of the fastest-growing markets have been in the MENAP region which includes countries, such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
The Fairness cream and cooling oil categories have grown each year. In 2006 Emami Fair and Handsome Fairness Cream for Men was launched in UAE. Since then, it has established itself as the leader in the men’s facial fairness category by offering unique benefits to men in this region. It was followed by the launch of a range of Emami Fair and Handsome products including shaving balms and lotions.
Himani Navratna cooling oil continues to be the largest-selling head and body massage brand.
Emami initiated its journey in Africa by introducing the pain management brand Mentho Plus in East Africa. Over time, the company has continuously expanded its presence in the region. Renowned brands such as Zandu, Fast Relief, Naturally Fair, and Mentho Plus actively contribute to the company's growth in East and Central African countries.
South East Asia remains one of the focal areas with tremendous growth opportunities. Emami entered this region with Fair and Handsome which is one of Myanmar's leading men's fairness facial care brand. The brand has also gained popularity in Vietnam and Cambodia.
